Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, hospitality, and delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect the natural elegance and charm of Mountain Harbor. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu development, inventory management, staff supervision, and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement seasonal menus using fresh, locally sourced ingredients that reflect regional flavors and resort elegance.
- Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver outstanding culinary experiences for resort guests, events, and private functions.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage food cost controls, inventory, and ordering while minimizing waste.
- Hire, train, and schedule kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with resort leadership to plan special events, weddings, and catering services.
- Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve culinary offerings based on reviews and trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-end resort, fine dining restaurant, or luxury hospitality setting.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Deep understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Creative, adaptable, and passionate about delivering excellence.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and during high seasons.
